Zachary Schaffer is the community strategy associate at the Israel Action Network, a strategic initiative of the Jewish Federations of North America in partnership with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs. In this role he works with community stakeholders around North America to support two states for two peoples and counter delegitimization. He counsels activists on community relations, advocacy, and organizing. He also helps oversee national and local campaigns with the Christian and African-American communities. He is a Mid-Career Fellow at Gratz College pursuing his Master of Science in Nonprofit Management. He graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in Rhetoric and Political Science, and a certificate in Corporate/Community Relations. In 2015 he was recognized by the Jewish Educators Assembly as one of twenty emerging Jewish leaders in their twenties. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.
