Eran Avidor

Eran was born in Holon, Israel and has been an active member of the youth movement "HaMachanot ha’Olim" since his childhood. As part of the movement, he joined Kibbutz Na'aran in the Jordan Valley where he has been a resident since 2001. He is among the founding members of the leadership group in the alumni network of Machanot ha’Olim. As a youth who grew up in a Leftist home and who was part of the Peace Camp during the Oslo years and Rabin assassination, his military service during the Second Intifada was a point of deep personal turmoil and breakdown. As part of a multiple year-long process of questioning a new approach to peace, Eran joined Roots and today he coordinates the Jordan Valley Branch. Eran is an educator and a farmer, and he is married and a father of two children.
